A few important notes on this project. What to expect as posts and articles are edited/updated.

A brief explanation of how this all started. We’re not sure how it’s all gonna end.

Unless you really know what you’re doing, don’t try this at home.

I believe it was Kirk who said that, on his & Ken’s last visit here, the bathroom was sectioned off with yellow hazard tape.
Hmmm, why am I not surprised? Kinda looks like a crime scene.

The two decorative tubular metal support posts holding up the roof of the carport looked odd to me.
Well, there’s a reason for everything.

“Clark, I remember once I buried a coffee can with a lot of money it in out here somewhere. Just keep digging … we’ll find it.”

Sittin’ on the Front Porch, Lookin’ out my Backdoor

Working on the backyard fence posts.
Two posts were in bad shape; the fence panels were askew.
Fear not … we knew what to do.

A few videos of the roof from different sides and angles. No matter how you look at it, from any point of view, it’s not in good shape.

Looking at the air conditioner, which began spurting water.
As it turns out, that is completely normal. All is good.

Inasmuch as we have no intention of using the fireplace, it still seems like a good idea to know the condition of both the external brick chimney structure and the internal firebox and chamber.
