Two posts were in bad shape; the fence panels were askew.
Fear not … we knew what to do.

As it turns out, that is completely normal. All is good.

Inasmuch as we have no intention of using the fireplace, it still seems like a good idea to know the condition of both the external brick chimney structure and the internal firebox and chamber.

It was time.
This is the same sink that was here when we visited the house in 2012.
It was in need of replacement then. And, funny this, in ten years it had not gotten any better and still needed to be replaced.
