The Creature from Jeckyll Island

A Lecture by G. Edward Griffin

This lecture by G. Edward Griffin is not new — it was recorded in 1994 — but despite its age, still sits firmly at the top of my “must view” collection.
It is a brief summary of his (then new) book, The Creature From Jekyll Island – A Second Look at the Federal Reserve, which delves into the creation of the Federal Reserve, which as we know, is neither ‘federal’ nor a ‘reserve.’

G. Edward Griffin’s Book, The Creature from Jekyll Island, is perched permanently in my top ten list of “must read” books.

Since I was a child, I’ve always felt that there was something fundamentally wrong with the way we looked at, handled, worshiped and created money. Yet no-one I ever asked could even answer, to my satisfaction, the simple question: “Precisely what is money?”

Well, Griffin’s book took me on a long journey — one I am still traveling — down the path (rabbit-hole?) toward understanding the function(s) of money, its creation and expansion, and how it is used not just by us and for us, but also against us.

This is, in my ever-so-humble-opinion, the ultimate primer for those interested in uncovering the deceptions of our modern money system, including the central banking cartel, the IRS, the Federal Reserve, and the overall manipulation of that whole system by the “powers that be” …

It is a book well worth your time reading and digesting. Maybe even twice.
